Great job to everyone who come out today! Today it was wet, windy, cold, rainy, wavy, and 57 degree water temperature... But we did it! Whether you only did the swim, bike/run, or all three, just know that all other triathlons out there are going to be easy from here on out. :) Dustin Joubert was the fastest male and Ciara Teter was the fastest female. Each individual received a $25 gift card to Brazos Running Co.
Results are posted here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7a0VlTbD928VVdYOEg2NzVLYms. The bike/run course this year was slightly longer than in previous years, but you can still compare past times by going here. Also keep in mind that the swim times may be slightly skewed as our first turn buoy came untied from the anchor as our first swimmers reached it, and it drifted to shore. The later swimmers may have ended up cutting the course a bit.
Lastly, thanks to the University of Texas, Baylor University, Texas State University, University of Incarnate Ward, and University of Houston for coming out and racing with us! We had 61 racers with 28 completing the entire race and no injuries/accidents/major mishaps. We look forward to hanging out with y'all at regionals and nationals!
If there are any issues with the results, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
