We made the trip to Clemson, South Carolina this past Friday and Saturday (April 24th/25th, 2015) for USA Triathlon Collegiate Club Nationals. We had just over 50 zebras compete and transported about 60 bikes.
Our women placed 8th as a team with strong performances both Friday in the Draft Legal Race and Saturday in the Olympic Distance race.
Our men made the podium as a team with a 3rd place finish, again with success in both days of racing.
Combined men's and women's team ranked 5th place and took to the stage in our "old people" costumes at the awards ceremony. The team will even receive some money from this great performance!
Congratulations to all who competed, there were a lot of new personal records set and we hope everyone had a great time!

After dominating at the Mean Green Triathlon this past weekend, there remains just 4 weeks until Collegiate Nationals in Clemson, South Carolina.
Mean Green Triathlon has been a team race for the past 5 years, it is a sprint distance triathlon with a short pool swim (just 400 yards). Both the men and women had someone on the podium, with teammates close behind. This upcoming weekend we will have Zebras racing UT's time trial in Austin, TX as well as some Zebras making a trip to New Orleans, LA, both are olympic distance races. If you're in either area, be sure to cheer us on as we gear up for nationals with an olympic distance race.
