C Different is an organization that we have begun working with in order to help create opportunities for visually impaired athletes to compete in running and triathlon events.
You can find more information about the non-profit organization at http://www.cdifferent.org.
If you are or know of a visually impaired athlete that would be interested, please contact Sean Chang at firstname.lastname@example.org and he can help answer questions and get you started training and racing with us!
We have already had several students race with their guides at the Sugar Land Christmas C5k, benefiting the C Different Foundation. More info on that race is at http://sugarlandchristmasrun.com/
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are at all interested in this program as we are willing and well prepared to make opportunities for visually impaired student athletes.
Texas A&M Triathlon partners with Race Texas to provide help during their races. It is one of our ways to give back to the community and also fund raise for the team.
Big Event is the largest student-run one-day service project in the nation where Aggies get together and say, "Thank you," to the residents of Bryan and College Station. Every year we volunteer as a way to give back to the community.
